Real blast from the past

I thought that this picture would fit well with our theme. This was our 80's night and if you don't find us all irresistable, I don't know what more we could do. We all did each others hair and makeup and I think that is was a success. What cute roommates!

Roommates

So this was on my birthday, right before going to bed. Kel had a great pair of sweat pants that she decided to cut at the bottom. She is so creative and I am so proud of her. As you can see she used her resources to create an ankle band, sleeves for her shirt, and a headband. My favorite part would have to be the sleeves. She knows how to work it too with her sexy model pose :)
Julie isn't even looking at the camera and she still can't keep her eyes open.I love it. Love you Julz! This was our second year of college. We lived at raintree. It's funny cuz that is where our parents lived too. Goes to show you just how old the apartments are :) JK But at least we had the Blue couches instead of the plaid ones. That would have been embarrassing.

Niece and Nephews!

We have the cutest babies in our family!! Nicole has a niece named Avery and she is the cutest little thing you will ever see! (Other than our nephews of course) Avers has the cutest personality and will keep you entertained for hours on end! She is already boy crazy! She has a crush on our cousin Rylie and loves to follow him around. She is about to become a big sister and she wants to name her little sister cowgirl. I have a feeling that name will stick!

I have a nephew named Crew. He is the cutest little baby, I want to squeeze him all the time!! He has big blue eyes and he also has these big dimples in his cheeks. I am sucker for dimples! He makes us so proud with his goos and awws. He was a dragonfly for Halloween but he was NOT happy about it. He was so embarrassed about being a bug that he would grab on to the antennas and pull the hood over his head.

Nicole's Nephew Josh has the CUTEST facial expressions! He cracks me up! So so cute! I think he looks like his uncle Scott. That lucky little boy lives in New York City, where his daddy is going to school to be a dentist. We are so proud of him and his talents! He can already roll over! Thatta boy! Josh was a bumble bee for Halloween. For some reason there was a bug theme for our family this year! The costume was a little big on him so his dad says he will be a bee for a couple years! Poor guy! haha.

Vacation: Nik has been all over! Idaho, Illinois, Florida, California, Ecuador! And the list goes on...
Music: Nik Loves music!! Her favorite is country but she will listen to anything!
Food: She has a weakness for the good stuff! Scotcharoos, cookies, brownies, and she LOVES nuts!
Drinks: She doesn't like to drink water. She loves all kinds of juice! She also like crystal light...and ignored her roommate Shauna's advice when she told her that it is bad for her... :)

Nicole Graduated from BYU in Linguistics, and no she doesn't really know what that means either...just kidding! Nicole would like to go on and get her Masters Degree, but will probably get to help her husband build his practice instead.

Nicole had a lot of dogs growing up but for some reason her parents always sold them after a short while.

Nicole was always the sweetest person that I knew, until...dun dun dun...she was my roommate I brought out the sass in her! She now speaks her mind... Sorry Tyson...

Nicole loves chocolate covered everything...sometimes we would melt chocolate and put it on strawberries, oranges, pineapple, bananas...

Nicole LOVES to sing! She is always singing and is very good at it.

Nik was an officer in high school and she was friends with everyone. (That was before I turned her into a sassy girl)

She is a tom boy and loves to play sports and go rock climbing.

She is currently a nanny, she lives in a small little cottage, and the family she works for has a deaf dog that loves to annoy her ;)

She was always getting into trouble on the farm.

She worked for a company called Rise, where she worked with people that have disabilities. My favorite was Elaine... she was really funny. Nik taught her a song.. "There is sunshine in my soul today...where the mamans mamans go.."

She has a few nicknames such as, Nikkers, Nik, Donald, Joeboo, and the list goes on...
She loves the color blue.
She is fluent in horse latin
Nik lived in Ecuador for a few months where she worked in an orphanage.
She has done some modeling for Designs by Linda.
She is great at picking names for our kittens on the farm...(Rosie..nice one nik!)
She sounds just like the guys on Napoleon Dynamite when she is imitating them...soo proud!

She met Mark Madson and had him wrapped around her little finger!

At school she went out with a guy who tried to kiss her on the first date, but she denied him. The next day he came over and wanted to have a "DTR" He told her that things were moving too fast and that he couldn't be with her. Broke her little heart :)

She married Tyson Bradford in June of 2007.

She misses her favorite person Kelley very much and can't wait to move back!

Mikelle Morgan Hill

Here is a thing or two you might not have known about Kel. And if you did know all of this, it's still fun to read..

Hair: Medley of colors :) but a lot of blonde
Skin: Tan with a few freckles. Some of her freckels she really likes. She calls them cute.
Vacation: She has been everywhere. Hawaii, New York, Florida, Mexico, All over Europe, awe man... the list goes on so I'm done.
Music: Loves all... including classic country (Grandpa Allen introduced us to the classics) She loves Boyz to Men
Food: CHEESE, pizza, cafe rio, wendy's happy meals, Chile's queso and chips, La Cocina, chicken fajitas, phish food ice cream, mongolian beef, no bake cookies, scotcharoos.
Drinks: diet coke or pepsi and sometimes propel
She attended UVSC and had her emphasis in para legal studies. She LOVES school and will probably end up with a masters degree, doctrite, and MBA.
Mikelle LOVES her dog sophie. Sometimes I think she gets confused and thinks that Sophie is a human baby :)
She has a terrible fear of spiders and will cry if she is near one for too long.

Mikelle plays the guitar but for some reason will NOT play in front of people and will deny that she knows how.

Who's Blog?!?!

Alright everyone, I know you are all dying to know who the owners of such a page could be? And why in the world would they title it "Blast from the Past"? It's really quite simple.. and here is our story. So once upon a time there were two darling girls that were not only cousins, but were very best friends. They had quite the adventures over the years and a lot of good times were had. Slowly over time all of their friends started this thing called "blogging" and telling the two girls to get on the ball and start their own pages. Well these two girls couldn't think of a darn thing they would put on their own pages, but if they came together, they would have oodles of fun to share with everyone. So there you have it. Mikelle Hill and Nicole (Allen) Bradford have started their own page devoted to entertaining you all with their goofiness and fun, exciting lives.

Grandpa: Our Favorite Cowboy

Here it is...our tribute to Gramps...One of the most amazing men that has walked the earth and we had the privilege of calling him Grandpa. He died on September 24th, 2007. He was always so fun to be around and could always cheer you up. He was a great example of how to love unconditionally and how to serve others. He was able to go on many adventures in his lifetime...including runnin' around with Daniel Boone! We miss you so much Gramps and cant wait to see you again! Until then we will always remember your famous quote... Don't worry about anything and nothin' will be alright! Love you lots!! XOXOXOXO
