Well as you all have figured out by now, Mikelle and I had a little bit of a mice fettish in our younger years. Don't worry - we have outgrown that stage in our lives. We have moved on to bigger and better things such as cats and dogs.... and fish. Mikelle bought me a fish in college once for my birthday. Now this wasn't just any fish, but it was one of those bubble-cheek fish. Ya know the ones that looks like you could pop those ugly inflated cheeks? Yep that is right. Imagine my joy and excitement when she presented him to me. She even had a name picked out and everything- Jermaine. We all loved Jermaine. I fed him, changed his water, talked to him, and loved him like anyone would do w/ their pet fish. It wasn't long after I had grown completely attached to this loveable friend when I found out he was sick. He began to grow mold on those lovely bloated cheeks of his and died soon after. Rest in peace dear sweet Jermaine.

Farm Confessions Part 2
Hey everyone!! Who is ready for another confession blog??? This one isn't as bad as the last one; I have decided that we should confess to a little white lie that was told to our family members. Some of you may remember that many years ago while up on the farm for the potato harvest Nicole and I were viciously attacked by a pack of ravenous beasts! We were walking from Uncle Brad's house down to the potato field. A few minutes after beginning our trek we had to pass by the green grump's house. Out of nowhere at least 8 humongous growling dogs attacked!!! We ran as fast as we could and we barely escaped within an inch of our lives! We had to crawl our way through the ditches out of sight of the monsterous beasts. We arrived covered head to toe in dirt, panting and extremely upset over the whole ordeal. Or so we told you… the truth is… about 4 dogs came out to the road barking at us. We crossed through the ditch and cut through the field (rubbing a little extra dirt on our clothes for dramatics)... the dogs did not follow. Which story was more exciting to read? What would you have done in that situation???

Farm Adventure!
Since this is supposed to be our blast from the past I have decided to get the ball rolling and share a story that only a select few know about!!! Nik and I share a love for animals and when we were younger we would go out in the fields on our grandparents farm. We would catch baby mice (yes we do realize how disgusting that is now..) and we would take them into our grandma's sewing room. There we would sew little sleeping bags for them and this is where the confession comes in... one day Nik and I decided that our baby mice were hungry... We poured a bowl of grandma's 2% milk and we dipped the baby mice into the bowl, trying to feed them. We heard grandma pull up and we didn't want her to get mad at us for using so much milk so being the clever young ladies that we were we just poured the milk that was in the bowl back into the carton. Later that night aunt Steph's friend Kim came over. She was really in the mood for a glass of milk. Nik and I tried to pour her a glass of the 1% milk but Kim insisted on having 2% which is exactly what she got... More confessions to come... :)
